Armenian Ministry of Defense on Expenses for Joint Exercises with the USA

Each side covers the basic expenses related to its representatives' participation. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Defense in response to a query from Sputnik Armenia regarding the financial aspects of the Armenian-American peacekeeping forces' "Eagle Partner – 2024" exercises.

It is noteworthy that American armored vehicles were also involved in the exercises, thus raising the question of who assumed the costs for transporting and operating heavy equipment.

The Ministry of Defense did not clarify how much the Armenian side spent in total for conducting the exercises, stating that the information contains state and service secrets.

Recall that the "Eagle Partner-2024" Armenian-American joint exercises were held in Armenia from July 15-24, involving personnel from Armenia's peacekeeping brigade, the U.S. Army troops in Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard.
