Wildberries Founder Denies Spread of Rumors

The founder of Wildberries, Tatyana Bakalchuk, has addressed the situation surrounding the merger with external advertising operator Russ, describing it as a "divorce" rather than a "raider takeover." This statement follows comments made by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and Vladislav Bakalchuk.

On her Telegram channel, Bakalchuk shared a photo allegedly showing her husband at the presentation of the company’s new structure. "This is not a raider takeover. This is a divorce. From the very beginning, everything was coordinated with Vladislav, who personally attended the meeting of top management of the merged company," Bakalchuk stated on her Telegram channel.

She then wrote, "Here’s the evidence," linking to the photo accompanying her message on Telegram. The image depicts an office space with three individuals: Robert Mirzoyan, Tatyana Bakalchuk, and her husband, Vladislav Bakalchuk.

According to the press service of Russ and Wildberries, "Wildberries and Russ continue to operate stably, providing goods and services to our customers, and all obligations are being fulfilled in full. We are confident that the details of the divorce process and emotional nuances are not of interest to business publications."

It is worth noting that earlier, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov released a video featuring Vladislav Bakalchuk and claimed that "their family is facing serious issues both within the family and related to the family business."
