Such Actions Cannot Go Unanswered: Peskov
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that Moscow will undoubtedly respond to the theft of Russian assets. "Of course, the answer will come in one way or another. Such acts of theft cannot go unanswered," Peskov emphasized.
He noted that it is difficult to think of something worse than the use of funds stolen from Russia to purchase weapons for Ukraine. He added that Russia will explore the possibility of legal action against those involved in the decision to seize its assets.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that Moscow's response measures regarding the possible transfer of tranche from the revenues of Russian assets to the Ukrainian Armed Forces would be severe.
