Video: Bodies of Missing Turkish Climbers Found on Mount Ararat

Turkish rescuers have discovered the bodies of two climbers who went missing two days ago while attempting to scale Mount Ararat. This was reported by the Milliyet newspaper.

Two Turkish citizens had climbed the mountain in groups under severe weather conditions. On Saturday, the two men became trapped not far from the mountain's summit, at an altitude of 5,050 meters, in fog and snowfall. Their search efforts were aided by rescuers, who were also supported by a drone.

“A local guide found the lifeless bodies of the two climbers at an altitude of 4,900 meters,” the report stated.
