Citizen Falls into Arzni Gorge and is Hospitalized

On July 21, at 21:27, the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Service received a call reporting that a citizen had fallen into the Arzni gorge near one of the restaurant complexes, sustaining bodily injuries. Rescue assistance was required to retrieve the citizen from the gorge and approach the ambulance.

A rapid response unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers extracted S. Z. (born in 1983) from the gorge (about 10 meters) and brought him to the ambulance. The injured person was hospitalized in a medical center, where doctors assessed his health condition as satisfactory.
