40 People Drown in Russian Reservoirs in One Day

In the past day, the bodies of 40 individuals have been discovered in reservoirs across Russia, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM). Among the deceased are two children.

The bodies of those who drowned were specifically found in the reservoirs of Buryatia, Tuva, Bashkortostan, Altai, Krasnoyarsk, Perm regions, as well as in Mordovia, Rostov, and Murmansk.

In light of this tragedy, the ministry urges citizens of the country to avoid increasing the statistics and to adhere to safety rules while swimming.
