Mass Shooting in Philadelphia, USA: Fatalities and Injuries Reported

At least three people have been killed and another seven injured following a shooting at a party in Philadelphia, USA, as reported by NBC News.

"A mass shooting occurred this morning in western Philadelphia during a party, resulting in at least three deaths and seven injuries. The incident took place at an event attended by 100 to 150 people," the network's website states.

It is noted that three men have died as a result of the shooting; one was pronounced dead at the scene, another at the hospital, while information on the third victim has yet to be released. Police believe that the likely target of the attack was a 33-year-old man who died at the scene after being shot at close range. It is suspected that there were multiple shooters involved.

Officers at the scene also discovered 25 to 30 shell casings and one firearm.
