Shooter of Trump Left Message on Platform Before Assassination Attempt

Thomas Matthew Crooks, who shot at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania, left a message on the gaming platform Steam prior to the assassination attempt. This was reported by Fox News.

"On the Steam platform, where players purchase games and interact, Crooks wrote: 'My premiere will take place on July 13, stay tuned for developments,'" the report indicates.

According to Fox News, the U.S. Secret Service received reports of the man's suspicious behavior more than an hour before the shooting. Crooks was deemed suspicious because he was observed carrying a remote and a backpack.

It’s important to note that on July 13, an assassination attempt occurred against Donald Trump. The political figure was shot multiple times, taken off stage with a bloody ear, and hospitalized. After receiving assistance, Trump was discharged from the hospital.

On July 17, it was reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) interviewed over a hundred people but could not determine the motivations of Thomas Matthew Crooks, who fired at the former President during the rally in Pennsylvania. American intelligence agencies accessed the assailant's phone, checked his computer, home, and vehicle, but this did not help clarify what motivated Crooks.
