Russia Prepared to Work with Any U.S. President, Lavrov Says

Russia is prepared to work with any U.S. president chosen by the American people. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“Once again, I want to say that we will work, we will be ready to work with any American leader elected by the American people, who is willing to engage in equal and mutually respectful dialogue,” Lavrov stated during a press conference following a meeting of the UN Security Council.

The Russian Foreign Minister also reminded that it was during Trump’s presidency that the war of sanctions against Russia began, but at the same time, dialogue between Moscow and Washington has been maintained.

The next presidential elections in the United States are scheduled for November 5, 2024.
