Possible Short-Term Rain and Thunderstorms: Weather in Armenia

In Yerevan, on the evenings of July 16, 17, and 21, brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in certain parts of the city. From July 18 to 20, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected.

During thunderstorms and in the evenings, wind gusts are anticipated at speeds of 18-23 m/s. In the regions, after noon on July 16, on the 17th and 21st in some areas, and across significant parts of the regions on July 18-20, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected, with heavy rain possible in certain areas, and hail is also a possibility.

The wind will be southwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts during thunderstorms reaching 19-24 m/s. In the evening hours in Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, wind gusts of 18-23 m/s are expected.

The air temperature will drop by 4-5 degrees during the daytime hours on July 18.
