Peskov on the Execution of a Russian Soldier

Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, commented on the information regarding the execution of a Russian soldier by militants of the "Azov" battalion (a terrorist organization banned in Russia), stating that a fascist remains a fascist.

"A fascist remains a fascist; they must be destroyed," Peskov told reporters.

A video of the Russian soldier's execution was published on the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Azov battalion.

Recall that on the early morning of February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to launch a special military operation against Ukraine, following requests for assistance from the Luhansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic. Combat operations in Ukraine continue to this day.
