New Requirements for Healthcare Workers: No Jewelry or Artificial Nails
Starting June 1, all healthcare workers who have direct contact with patients in medical centers across Armenia must adhere to new regulations: no long or artificial nails, no gel or polish, and no rings, bracelets, or watches.
According to the legal act, the length of a healthcare worker's nails must not exceed the tip of their finger, and wearing jewelry is also prohibited. The adoption of this legal norm aims to prevent the spread of nosocomial infections.
