Beloved Actress Lala Mnatsakanyan Has Passed Away
Beloved actress Lala Mnatsakanyan has passed away. This was announced by the State Institute of Theater and Cinema in Yerevan.
“With deep sorrow, we inform you that the Honored Artist of Armenia, Professor of the Department of Acting and Directing, Lala Mnatsakanyan, has left this life unexpectedly. We extend our condolences to Lala Mnatsakanyan's family, relatives, and loved ones, sharing the heavy grief of this loss,” the announcement states.
According to shamshyan.com, the widely loved and recognized actress suddenly passed away during the night. “At approximately 05:40, a call was received at the Arabkir police department from the ‘Arabkir’ ambulance station indicating that the medical team's on-duty group had responded to a call at a residence on Mamigonian Street 58 A, where they found that at around 05:30, Lala Mnatsakanyan had passed away suddenly,” the website reported.
It is worth noting that Honored Artist of Armenia Lala Mnatsakanyan was born in 1957. She would have turned 67 on October 8.
The public knows her from numerous performances, television films, author programs, series, and especially the beloved project “Our Yard,” which brought together four films and one TV series about the life in a Yerevan backyard. The premiere of the first film took place on New Year's Eve in 1996.
