A Citizen Falls into a Gorge in Dilijan
At midnight, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that a citizen had slipped and fallen into a nearby gorge near the twists and turns of Dilijan.
A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers used a stretcher to bring a 28-year-old man, identified as Zh. Z. (born in 1995), out from approximately 5 meters down the gorge and transported him to an ambulance. The injured individual has been hospitalized at a medical center.
