The construction work for a secondary school is underway in Sasunik. The school is being built as part of the Asian Development Bank's seismic safety improvement program, co-financed by the Government of Armenia. This was reported by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who also shared a video.

The total cost of the project is 2 billion 350.2 million AMD. The school is designed to accommodate 432 students. The construction works are expected to be completed by 2025.

Pashinyan also met with the residents of the village and treated the children to ice cream. One resident, addressing the Prime Minister, said, "I am very happy. May your road always shine; may you never leave our side." Another resident complained about the quality of the streets: "One street is good; you gave funds to fix it last year, but the sidewalks are in poor condition. I am a big man; I will go, and suddenly I fell to the ground. The sidewalk is of poor quality." Pashinyan responded, "Step by step, we cannot do everything at once. It's not just a matter of money; there aren't enough builders in the country. There are tenders for which no one participates because everyone is busy."
