VIDEO. "Not Discussed, Not Under Discussion, and Will Not Be Discussed": Simonian Responds to Arthur Khachatryan's Speech
Armenian National Assembly President Alen Simonian responded to Arthur Khachatryan's speech during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly, stating that the issues raised are political, rather than directed towards the Cadastre Committee. "Not a single millimeter has been given to neighboring countries from Armenia, it has not been planned, it has not been discussed, and it will not be discussed," he said.
According to Simonian, one house, one shop, and one storage room existed in Kiran, for which compensation was provided to residents with their consent. "As for 'well, let's curse, there hasn't been any other option,' I would say, who said there hasn't been, who said it hasn't gone from this side to that side?" he added.
The NA President expressed hope that the delimitation and demarcation process with the neighboring state will be finalized. "I hope it will succeed, and we will put an end to the decades-long dispute that has led to two significant calamities, wars."
