Peskov: Such Reports Should Not Be Taken Seriously

The reports about an assassination attempt on Armin Papergeri, head of the German Rheinmetall arms company, appear to be fake. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, stated in a press briefing that CNN's information, which suggested Russia's involvement, relies on anonymous sources, as reported by TASS.

"It is very difficult for us to comment on various media reports that lack serious evidence," the Kremlin representative noted. "All of this is presented in the usual style of fakes. Such reports should not be taken seriously," added Peskov.
