Alen Simonian to Sue 'Joghovourd' Newspaper
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, is preparing to file a lawsuit against the 'Joghouvourd' newspaper.
“The fact that a journalist stops being a journalist and turns into a presenter, delivering what they are told to, is unfortunately very common in our reality. Here, ‘Taqouhin’, who has ordered her employees to ‘FAS’ against me, uneducated and ignorant, tries to find anything related to me. They regularly ask about the entries and exits of my employees, rummage through dirty linen, and now they have written a manifest lie, claiming that not only does my brother work as the director of an asphalt company, but he also recently won a tender worth 4 billion, when in fact, since May 2023, my brother is not a director, and since September 2023, he has completely left that company.
I called Taqouhin once a couple of months ago and warned her to remove an article containing another slander. I told her as a colleague not to sue, just to erase it—there’s no such thing. The article was changed, and now this lie has emerged; this time, I will file a lawsuit as I have all the screenshots, and this fraudulent content has already spread well on the internet, so there's no point in removing it. I have already asked my lawyers to prepare a suit and file it.
P.S. I thank CivilNet for independently responding and confirming that Joghouvourd wrote yet another falsehood about me. It was certainly unexpected.
P.S.2. Taqouhin and some so-called ‘media’ outlets seem to think our government is like the previous ones, that when articles are written about us, we are scared and running around, and that something changes in our lives; they think they have power because they have media and can constantly write lies about us. I must disappoint them; we have a large prison set up regarding your daily lies and nonsense. They are interesting only in that they give you the opportunity to take them to court and showcase once more their yellow journalism—as in this case,” Alen Simonian wrote on his Facebook page.
