VIDEO: 'Did you have control over those individuals in Artsakh at the time?' Sukiasyan to NST Deputy Director

MP Khachatur Sukiasyan from the Civil Contract Party questioned Deputy Director Andranik Simonian of the National Security Service (NST) about whether they previously had control over the NST in Artsakh and its employees, which now allows them to easily work within the Armenian NST.

Simonian noted that the legislative change does not mean these individuals will automatically transition to work at the NST; rather, it creates a legal opportunity. He stated: 'NST employees in Artsakh will still need to submit an application and go through the appropriate processes, just like other citizens who wish to work at the NST. This does not lead to a mechanical transfer or appointment.'
