France, Germany, Italy, and Poland have reached an agreement for the joint development of long-range cruise missiles at the NATO summit in Washington. This was reported by TASS.

According to Reuters, the countries have signed letters of intent. It is known that the missiles will have a range exceeding 500 kilometers. The German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung clarifies that the missiles in question will have a range of over 1000 kilometers, capable of reaching Russian targets from German territory.

Italian media add that the document has been signed for the purpose of “strengthening land defense.”
