Victor Orban's Participation in the Turkic States Organization Summit in Artsakh is a Scandal for the EU, MEP Says

The participation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in the Turkic States Organization summit in Artsakh is a scandal for the EU. This statement was made by Member of the European Parliament Natalie Loiseau.

“Viktor Orban's participation in the Turkic states summit with a representative from Northern Cyprus, especially in a city in Artsakh, is a disgrace for Hungary and a scandal for Europe. Does Prime Minister Orban throw into doubt the Cyprus issue?” Loiseau wrote on the X social network.

Earlier, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, stated that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban did not receive a mandate from the EU to represent it at the Turkic States Organization (OTS) summit.
