Szijjártó Calls on Pro-War Politicians to Be Cautious Next Week

Hungary will continue its peace mission aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine and will hold a series of meetings next week to that end. This announcement was made by Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, summarizing the results of his country's presidency of the EU Council during the first week.

According to TASS, Szijjártó stated: "Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's visits to Kyiv and Moscow, which took place on July 2nd and 5th, not only caused dissatisfaction among EU leaders but also received support from certain European politicians." He noted that Hungary has been attacked by those who have consistently deepened the military crisis in Europe through fantasies of arms supplies, sending ground troops, and news about the use of nuclear weapons over the past two and a half years.

"These attacks will not deter us and will not discourage us. The peace mission will continue and even strengthen, so I call on pro-war European politicians to buckle up and be cautious next week," Szijjártó said in his video message.
