Hayko Gasparyan Wins Bronze at the European U20 Wrestling Championships

Hayko Gasparyan (57kg) defeated his Georgian opponent with a score of 10:4, securing a bronze medal at the European U20 Wrestling Championships, according to the press service of the Wrestling Federation of Armenia.

In the 65 kg category, Andranik Avetisyan lost to his Italian rival with a score of 6:9 in the bout for the bronze medal. Vladimir Azaryan, competing at 70 kg, fell short against a Georgian wrestler with a score of 2:9 in the fight for the bronze medal. Aren Israelian, in the 79 kg category, also lost 3:4 to a representative from France in his pursuit of the bronze medal.

No wrestlers from the freestyle category have advanced to the semifinals, which began on July 6.
