Two Players of the Armenian National Football Team Exempted from Mandatory Military Service

The government has decided to exempt two members of the Armenian national football team, Hrachik Gevorgyan and Mark Grigoryan, from mandatory military service.

The rationale for this decision states that Hrachik Gevorgyan and Mark Grigoryan have been invited to Armenia to participate in national team activities, including teams under the age of 19, under the age of 21, and the senior national team.

These athletes represent the Armenian national team (having previously played for both the U19 and U21 teams) and are set to participate in training camps and international competitions. Therefore, it has become necessary to exempt them from mandatory military duty.
