Details on the Health Condition of a Poisoned Family in Goris

All members of a 7-person family in Goris have been poisoned, and a 4-year-old child has died. This information was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

“The incident occurred yesterday; it involves a 7-member family consisting of 5 children, a father, and a mother. One of them, the 4-year-old child, was admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of 'clinical death.' A 9-year-old child was transported to Yerevan by an ambulance, first to 'St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center' and then to 'Muratsan' University Hospital. There is already positive dynamics in the health of the latter. The other children continue to receive treatment at the Goris Medical Center. The father has already been discharged, and the mother will be discharged tomorrow,” said Mariam Tsatryan to Armenia Sputnik.

Preliminary data indicate that it was a case of food poisoning. Residues of the food have been sent for laboratory examination.
