Honda Crashes into Metal Advertising Column While Returning from Batumi

Today, on July 7, a major traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region. At approximately 20:50, a Honda Fit vehicle traveling towards Yerevan on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, at the 11 km mark, veered off the roadway and crashed into a metal column supporting an advertising sign located in the dividing area.

According to Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, five people were injured, three of whom were found outside the vehicle. Citizens were the first to provide assistance, followed by police officers from the second platoon of the patrol service of the Kotayk region, led by Police Colonel Arthur Khudinyan, and emergency medical teams from the Abovyan Medical Center.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Abovyan investigative department regarding the accident, where the identities of the driver and the injured parties are being clarified. Relatives of the injured individuals who arrived at the scene stated that they were returning from Batumi.
