Armenia to Host Armenian-American Joint Military Exercise 'EAGLE PARTNER-2024'

Within the framework of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the Armenian-American joint military exercise 'EAGLE PARTNER-2024' will take place in Armenia from July 15 to 24. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

“The exercise will involve the peacekeeping brigade of the Armenian Armed Forces, soldiers of the U.S. ground forces in Europe and Africa, and members of the Kansas National Guard. The exercise is designed to conduct stabilization operations between conflicting parties during peacekeeping missions. The aim of the exercise is to enhance the level of interoperability of the participating units in international peacekeeping missions, exchange best practices in command and tactical communication, as well as to improve the readiness of the Armenian unit,” the statement reads.

As part of the preparations for peacekeeping missions, units preparing for international peacekeeping operations regularly participate in similar joint exercises and training in partner countries.
