Russian Ministry of Defense Publishes Photo of Vardan Harutyunyan Who Rescued 12 Comrades Under Mortar Fire

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released a photo of Private Vardan Harutyunyan on its Telegram channel, who evacuated 12 injured soldiers from the battlefield under mortar fire.

During a special military operation, Private Harutyunyan was part of a medical platoon and undertook the tasks of providing first aid and evacuating soldiers from the combat zone. Despite ongoing shelling by Ukrainian forces, Harutyunyan risked his own life to rescue 12 servicemen suffering from varying degrees of shrapnel injuries.

After transporting his fellow fighters to a safe evacuation site, Vardan administered initial medical assistance to them. Thanks to Private Harutyunyan's competent and professional actions, all injured servicemen were quickly transported to medical facilities. The lives of the soldiers were saved.
