Aliyev Plans to Settle Approximately 20,000 Azerbaijanis Illegally in Artsakh by Year-End
By the end of 2024, up to 20,000 Azerbaijanis are set to be settled illegally in the Artsakh territories that came under Baku's control. This intention was announced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting of the Turkic States Organization held in Shushi, which is now under Azerbaijani control.
Aliyev stated that since the occupation of Berdzor, Shushi, Khojalu, and four villages in Artsakh, 8,000 Azerbaijanis have been illegally transferred for permanent residence in the region.
