"Next time, tell us a bit earlier so we can come and express our gratitude": Kiran resident on the visit of the ruling party members

Kiran resident Gohaar Vardanyan addressed the visit of members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) to Kiran on her Facebook page.

“Arpi Davoyan, next time you come to Kiran, please let us know a bit earlier so we can come and express our gratitude for 'liberating' Kiran and bestowing 'blissful peace' upon us,” she wrote.

A resident from Kiran told MediaHub, “We were in the village, busy with our own affairs, I opened my phone and saw Lulun, Arpi Davoyan, Andranik Kocharyan, in short, the ARF bunch had come to Kiran, took some photos, and went back.”

According to him, they came, took pictures, and returned to Yerevan. “The interesting part was that they entitled the group photo ‘Kiran,’ but there wasn’t a single local person in the picture. When I asked someone, they said, ‘We were not aware they had come.’ Certainly, everyone has something to say,” he noted.

According to the media, ARF members presented military ranks to Alexander Tsakanian during their visit to Kiran. “Times have changed; before, ranks were given for liberating, but now they are awarded for surrendering the Armenian positions,” he remarked.

The Kiran resident also conveyed that construction work for new roads continues in the village. “Just a few dozen meters away from our garden, the flags of Armenia and Azerbaijan are waving. Kiran is at a crossroads – not of peace,” he added.
