Kanye West Refuses to Pay His Lawyer
American rapper Kanye West's lawyer, who represented him in an assault case involving an autograph seller, has refused to continue working for the artist. This information was reported by Page Six.
According to a motion filed by attorney Brian Brumfield, the rapper has refused to pay him or even communicate with him since June 21. In a lawsuit filed on January 10 by autograph seller Justin Poplawski and his wife, Tiffany Marshall, Kanye is accused of assaulting Poplawski, causing bodily harm, and intentionally inflicting emotional distress. The plaintiff also claims to have suffered material damages.
Just a day earlier, West's name was mentioned in another lawsuit filed by a former employee of the rapper's Yeezy company. The plaintiff alleges that West's new wife, Bianca Sensori, sent inappropriate materials to employees, creating a rude and oppressive atmosphere at the workplace.
