Heavy Rain and Hail: Weather Forecast for Upcoming Days

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, today brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in certain areas. From the evening of July 6 to the 9th, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in significant parts of the regions, with possible heavy rains and hail in isolated areas. This is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with expected gusts of 19-24 m/s during thunderstorms. The air temperature will gradually rise by 7-9 degrees during the daytime on July 4-5, and by 10-13 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik, before gradually decreasing by 5-7 degrees on the 7-8th.

In Yerevan, brief rain and thunderstorms may occur in some areas during the evening hours of July 5. On the evening of July 6, as well as on the 7-9th, rain and thunderstorms are expected, with heavy rain in certain parts of the city. During thunderstorms, wind gusts of 18-23 m/s are anticipated.

On the daytime of July 5 in the capital, temperatures will range from +34 to +36 degrees Celsius, while in the evening, temperatures are expected to drop to +26 to +28 degrees.
