Night Run, Concert, Closed Streets: Constitution Day Celebrations in Yerevan

On July 4, the night run "Tricolor Yerevan Night Run" will kick off at 00:00, in anticipation of the Republic of Armenia's Constitution Day and State Symbols Day. As a result, Vazgen Sargsyan Street will be closed starting from 21:00 on July 4, and the Republic Square will be closed from 23:00.

Starting from 00:00, Shahumyan Square will also be closed, along with partial closures on Nalbandyan, Tumanyan, and Abovyan Streets, which will remain closed until the conclusion of the run.

The foundation "We" informs that the night run is organized with distances of 2.5 and 5 kilometers, marking the start of events dedicated to the Republic of Armenia's Constitution and State Symbols Day.

On July 5, the traditional festive march will take place, starting from Freedom Square at 19:30, proceeding along Mashtots Boulevard, Amiryan Street, and ending at Republic Square. Republic Square, Amiryan Street, and Mashtots Boulevard will be closed from 19:00.

The festive march is expected to see participation from approximately 4,500 to 6,000 youths and teenagers from all regions of Armenia, various administrative districts of Yerevan, various public organizations, as well as participants arriving from the diaspora.

Musical bands from the Armed Forces of Armenia and the Police Forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will participate in the festive march, along with honor guard detachments, the "Yerevan Drummers" group, cadets from the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy, and motorcycle units of the police escort. The Armed Forces will also conduct a flight over Yerevan with their MI-17 military helicopter, displaying the tricolor flag.

At around 20:00 on July 5, a ceremonial raising of the Armenian national flag will occur at Republic Square, followed by a festive concert featuring "Aristocrat Orchestra" and the "Katil" band, which will conclude around 22:00.

From 19:00 until 20:00, Mashtots Boulevard and Amiryan Street will be closed in both directions. From 19:00 to 22:00, Republic Square will remain closed for the festive concert.
