Contract Soldier Killed: Identity Revealed

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports: “On July 3, at around 00:45, a contract soldier, Sargsyan Arthur Khachatryan, received life-threatening gunshot wounds in yet undetermined circumstances at the protection area of military unit N. An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. The Ministry of Defense expresses its condolences and support to the family members, relatives, and fellow soldiers of the serviceman,” the statement reads.
