American businessman Elon Musk has announced that he would name the first city on Mars 'Bars'.

A user on social media platform X posted a question asking how readers would name the first city on Mars. Musk replied succinctly, 'Bars'.

Some observers, responding to Musk, recalled the 'Mars Bar' as the English term literally translates to 'Mars candy bar'.

Other users, seeing Musk's response, began to suggest their name variants for the first city on Mars, based on the billionaire's name or surname, such as Ilongrad, Ilonville, Maskelon, Masburg, or Ilonbad.

Previously, Musk had stated that he hopes to create a spacecraft without a runway on Mars within the next four years.
