Chaos and Long Lines: The Situation in Passport Offices is Actually Worse than One Can Imagine
The newspaper "Past" reports: "In the previous issue, we informed about the chaos that reigns especially in the passport divisions of the capital city due to the cancellation of the online appointment system for identification cards and the resulting 'live queues.' After the publication of the article, we received numerous responses, which prompted the reporters of 'Past' to conduct additional rounds, discovering that the situation is actually worse than one might imagine.
It turns out that, as a result of the cancellation of the online appointment system for identification cards, during the 'void' days and hours, the opportunity to make appointments for other services, including passport issuance, has increased. However, when citizens who have made appointments approach the passport offices, they find that their names are not on the lists.
People are forced to re-register on the spot and wait for hours. In response to public complaints, the offices claim they are not responsible and urge people to call the hotline. However, calling this hotline is a fantasy; either the line is busy, or there is no answer."
