23 Families of Missing Soldiers to Receive 300,000 Dram Support Until August

The families of 23 missing soldiers will continue to receive a financial support of 300,000 dram until the end of August. This decision was made during today’s meeting of the Armenian government.

It is noted that according to the decision on "Establishing Support Measures for the Families of Soldiers Missing Due to Military Actions Unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020," this monthly financial support will be provided as long as the missing soldier has not been legally declared as absent without leave.

This decision has been regularly extended, with the previous deadline set for July 1 of this year. The total amount of support to be provided for the months of July and August 2024 is 13 million 800 thousand dram.
