Photos: Bread and Bakery Production Activities Suspended in Yerevan

During an inspection at the bakery and bakery product production facility owned by Aram Sargsyan LLC (Yerevan, Rubinyants 5/3), the inspectors from the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia's Yerevan Center identified serious violations of legal norms concerning food safety requirements due to sanitary and hygienic inconsistencies.

In particular:

• The doors of restrooms in the production building opened directly into the production area, and they were not equipped with sinks for handwashing.
• The surfaces of the floors and doors were not even, were not made of waterproof, washable, and disinfectable materials.
• The opening internal windows did not have removable and cleanable insect protection nets.
• The food establishment was not equipped with a changing room for the staff.
• The tables and containers that came into direct contact with food were not constructed of materials meeting hygiene requirements and were not maintained in a repaired and acceptable condition.
• The equipment, tools, and utensils that directly contacted food were not properly cleaned and disinfected.
• Waste was not placed in separately marked containers that were operational and exclusively used for the collection and storage of these wastes.

The production activities for bread and bakery products have been suspended, and a deadline has been set for rectifying the identified violations.
