NATO Highlights Importance of Cooperation with Azerbaijan
The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan and Chief of the General Staff, Kerim Valiyev, met with Major General Stefan Fikks, Deputy Chief of Staff of NATO Allied Joint Forces Command, who is visiting Baku.
According to APA, citing the Ministry of Defense, it was noted that the current state of relations with NATO is at a high level. It was emphasized that cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO will continue to be mutually beneficial, and effective meetings will persist.
Valiyev specifically pointed out the significant contribution of the North Atlantic Alliance in the framework of NATO's Concept of Operational Capabilities in training Azerbaijani military units. Major General Fikks expressed satisfaction with his latest visit to Azerbaijan and stressed the importance of further developing relations.
