VIDEO: Militants Attack Turkish Forces in Syria

Militants in Syria have launched attacks on Turkish forces following the migrant riots in Turkey. This was reported by Readovka.

It is noted that Ankara has closed all border crossings and restricted communication in the region. Specifically, militants in northern Syria targeted Turkish forces stationed in the border area and fired upon several vehicles and trucks bearing neighboring country license plates.

Additionally, Syrians have been seen burning Turkish flags en masse. In response, Ankara has closed all crossings in northern Syria and sent additional troops to the region, as well as disrupted mobile communication and internet access in the rebel areas.

Reports indicate that in Syrian Afrin, militants attacked a Turkish Army checkpoint, resulting in the capture of several armored vehicles. Disagreements between groups of the 'Syrian Armed Opposition' and their benefactor Erdogan have arisen following the migrant riots that occurred recently in Turkey's Kayseri, where local residents believed that a Syrian refugee was responsible for the rape of a 6-year-old girl.
