VIDEO: The Amount of Bribery Received by the Russian Deputy Defense Minister Has Been Revealed

A court in Russia has placed Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov and his business partner Sergey Borodin under preliminary detention until September 23.

They are accused of engaging in large-scale bribery while performing work for the needs of the Ministry of Defense. Timur Ivanov has been dismissed from his position as Deputy Defense Minister, although his lawyer has stated that this is not related to the criminal case.

According to TASS, the amount of bribery for which Timur Ivanov was arrested has become known. Reports indicate that it involves 1 billion 185 million rubles.
