4,000 citizens with Turkish nationality serve in the Israeli army. This was reported by the 'Türkiye' newspaper, as conveyed by Pars Today.
Currently, there are 4,000 Jews serving in the Israeli army who are citizens of Turkey. Of these, 400 have come directly from Turkey, while the rest are from a third country, choosing not to disclose their identity.
It is noted that 65 of them have lost their lives, and 110 have been injured. Taking into account the number of reserve and re-recruited soldiers, the number of Turkish Jews in the Israeli army reaches 10,000.
The Turkish nationals fighting in Israel are in significant positions, with one of them being the commander of the Iron Dome system.
