Representatives of Armenia and Turkey to Meet on July 2 at the Border

A meeting between the representatives of Armenia and Turkey is scheduled for July 2. This information was provided to NEWS.am by a diplomatic source.

The meeting is expected to take place at the Armenian-Turkish border, possibly at the "Margara" crossing point. It is worth mentioning that on June 11, Ruben Rubinyan, the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly and Armenia's special envoy for the normalization of relations with Turkey, stated that "there has not been an official meeting for a long time, but we have an agreement that a new meeting will take place between the representatives of Armenia and Turkey, although we do not yet have an agreement on the date and location of the meeting."

Rubinyan also reported that the Margara bridge has already been repaired and is ready for use in relation to the Armenian-Turkish bridge.

The special envoy of Turkey is Serdar Kilic, who has previously served as the ambassador to the United States and as the chief secretary of Turkey's National Security Council.

Currently, there is no official information available regarding the upcoming meeting.
