Passenger Bus Overturns in Turkey, Several Injured

On July 1, a passenger bus transporting travelers from Hatay province in southern Turkey to the western Izmir province met with an accident. Reports from ermenihaber.am indicate that the incident occurred on the Afyonkarahisar-Uşak highway. The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a metal barrier on the roadside.

As a result of the bus overturning, 11 people were injured and have been transported to nearby hospitals. Law enforcement, gendarmerie, and units from Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) were dispatched to the scene. Traffic is currently being managed in a one-way direction.
