Authorities Discover Body of 22-Year-Old Man in Gyumri

On July 1, a tragic incident occurred in Shirak Province. Around 12:30 PM, the Shirak regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information indicating that there was a body of a man near Building 1 on Eastern Street, close to the airport in Gyumri.

According to reports from Shamshyan.com, it was confirmed at the scene that the information received by the police was accurate, and that 22-year-old Arthur D. had committed suicide by cutting his forearms with a kitchen knife.

Officers and investigators discovered a kitchen knife near the body, which, according to preliminary information, was the instrument used by Arthur D. to take his own life. Shamshyan's sources have noted that Arthur D.'s father had also committed suicide years earlier.
