Traffic Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway: One Fatality and Several Injured
On June 30, at 16:46, the crisis management center of the Kotayk regional rescue service received a call regarding a collision involving three vehicles on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, with injuries reported. A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that at kilometer 43 of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, vehicles identified as 'Mercedes-Benz' (driver: G. H., born in 1995), 'Opel' (driver: G. A., born in 1993), and 'BMW' (driver: D. A.) were involved in the accident. The passenger of the 'Opel', A. G. (born in 1971), has unfortunately died.
Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, G. H., G. A., along with passengers from the 'Opel' — M. B. (born in 2005), L. P. (born in 2001), N. A. (born in 2012) — and A. A. (born in 1990) from the 'BMW', were hospitalized. Their health conditions have been assessed as satisfactory.
The rescuers have disconnected the power from the vehicles and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
