Who Makes Decisions for Biden: Axios
All decisions for Biden are made by a group of his long-time supporters, Axios reports. They have ensured the elderly candidate's campaign, and it is their decision whether he will withdraw from the race after the scandalous debate.
The President's wife, Jill, his younger sister, Valerie Biden, and 85-year-old Ted Kaufman, his longtime friend and constant advisor, along with a small group of close White House aides, are the ones making decisions on behalf of Biden.
"They understand that this is a disaster," says a source close to the family. "But they believe there is still hope for survival." Leading Democrats do not share this optimism.
"It’s no longer just about Joe Biden's family or his feelings. This is now a problem for our entire country. This is a perfect chaos that we need to sort out. Loyalty should not be blind," the source noted.
