VIDEO: Forest Fires Rage Again in Turkey

Forest fires have once again erupted in three provinces of Turkey. The main road between the city of Selçuk and the Kuşadası spa has been closed.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense has sent an additional 5 helicopters to assist firefighters.

Earlier, on June 21, forest fires had broken out in southeastern Turkey. The fires in the Diyarbakır's Çınar and Mardin's Mazıdağı regions claimed the lives of 5 people, with 44 others injured—10 of whom are in serious condition. In Diyarbakır, 3 people lost their lives, while in Mardin, 2 fatalities were reported.
