It’s terrifying to see the Azerbaijani flag just a few meters away in Shurnukh while they have claimed our Armenian lands as their own. This was stated by Garnik Danielyan, a member of the 'For the Homeland' movement and a deputy, during his visit to Shurnukh.

“They clearly state that we need to take control of these areas, and then think about more,” he said. “In Kiran, people are being forced to renounce their property certificates issued by the Armenian law in favor of Azerbaijan.”

Danielyan emphasized that the newly built houses in Shurnukh will only become the property of Armenia if security issues are resolved, as thousands of similar homes in Artsakh have also been handed over to the enemy.
