A Huge Maple Tree Uprooted and Fell in Yerevan

Today, on June 29, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 19:25, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call regarding a massive tree that had broken from its roots and fallen near a gas station located at 40/2 Hrachya Kochar street in the Arabkir administrative district.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the tree falling, a Hyundai vehicle passing on the road at that moment was damaged. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed, but the front windshield and several front parts of the vehicle were damaged.

It is still unclear who will compensate the owner of the damaged vehicle.
